The blurry stuff

I took the pinhole camera out again this evening and tried making a few more blurry photos. It was a lot of fun and kind of frustrating. The pinhole really makes some interesting images, and forces you to shoot at really slow shutter speeds.  Here are a few images

Pinhole

I decided to try and make my DSLR into a pinhole camera tonight, by drilling a hole into a body cap and then taping some foil over the hole and then placing a small hole into the foil. I then spent the night at a local watering hole trying to photograph some live bands.

It was a lot of fun shooting this way, I had the hole too big at first so I had to make some last minute adjustments to get some kind of focus. I ended up having to shoot at between 6400 iso and 12,800 iso to get enough light to get enough of an exposure so not everything was motion blurred.

I really fell in love with the pinhole camera idea while shooting this, and can't wait to try it out in the daylight! Here are a few images of Elko in Temecula,CA at Cellarz93.

Wildflowers

The other day I was assigned to photograph the wildflowers blooming on the Santa Rosa Plateau. Sadly the blooms really haven't started yet so only a few types of flower were open, also it was an overcast morning so not all the flowers had opened up yet. Here are some shots of shooting stars and fiddlenecks, the purple ones are the shooting stars and the yellow ones are the fiddleneck's.
